Both DeSoi Cișmigiu and Kupaj have been recognised by Wine Spectator Magazine in 2026 for their wine programs, a distinction awarded to restaurants around the world with outstanding wine lists. And for one special evening, these two restaurants are bringing their own philosophies to the same table, for the first time ever.

At DeSoi Cișmigiu, the menu is built around carefully sourced ingredients, seasonality and local producers, with an extensive wine list, from where you can easily find something to pair the food with.

Kupaj has built a strong reputation in Cluj-Napoca around its deep-rooted wine philosophy, modern small plates packed with flavour and an excellent service. It is constantly regarded as one of the best restaurants in the city.

This event is powered by Carassia, the sparkling wine brand of Carastelec Sparkling Winery, Romania’s first new-generation winery created specifically to produce quality sparkling wines using the traditional method.

The menu for this event is a la carte and will soon be announced. Menu will include 4 starters, 4 mains and 2 desserts to choose from.
