What makes Champagne, Champagne? How much does terroir matter? And what should you actually be looking for once it’s in your glass? From the region and its appellation to the details that make each bottle unique, this masterclass is designed to give you a better understanding of what you’re drinking and what to look for in the glass.

The tasting

During the masterclass, Cosmin will guide you through a tasting of 6 different Champagnes, exploring the complexity of the Champagne region in France, its terroir and the different styles and methods behind each bottle. You’ll discover the differences between Champagne houses and growers, as well as between Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs and assemblage Champagne.

Are you opening it right?

Probably, but there’s more to it. You’ll learn how to open and serve Champagne properly, how to actually taste it and what to pair it with — practical things worth knowing beyond the masterclass.
