Because nobody’s standing around just watching in this sushi masterclass powered by Kirin Ichiban. Join Alexandru Bădițoaia, head chef at Argentine Steak & Sushi in Herăstrău, one of the best sushi restaurants in town, for a hands-on and very “practical” masterclass on what it takes to go from a whole fish to a sushi roll.
Alexandru will guide you through the whole process, step by step, from 12:00 to 17:00, at Casa Paulownia. You’ll learn how to fillet a fish, how to cook rice the way it’s meant to be cooked for sushi, how to roll a maki from scratch and how to enjoy a piece of sashimi.
And there will be plenty of stuff to taste along the way. You’ll be working with salmon, shrimp, eel and sea bass, alongside cucumber, avocado, daikon and not only.
Freshful by eMAG is bringing some of the fresh ingredients to the table, adding a little extra freshness to the rolls, slices and bites you’ll be making along the way. Because great sushi starts with great ingredients.
And just like in a Japanese izakaya, sushi should be accompanied by a cold beer. And our dear friends from Kirin Ichiban are there to help.
