Papila x Almost Sweet Bar Takeover

Join us on Friday, September 18, at PAPILA for a special bar Takeover by Almost Sweet Cordials as part of Bucharest Food Week.

The iconic bistro will host cofounders Claudiu Văcăruș and Alex Crîsmariu, who have created Almost Sweet as a flavour laboratory for the hospitality industry. Their cordials are layered liquid bases designed to balance sweetness, acidity, and aromatic depth, helping bartenders create complex drinks.

The collaboration with PAPILA brings together two complementary approaches to flavour. Both teams believe in carefully chosen ingredients, strong culinary foundations, and creating an experience in which every element has a purpose.

For the takeover, Alex and Claudiu will create a special cocktail menu using Almost Sweet cordials, with drinks developed specifically to accompany the three dishes included in PAPILA's Bucharest Food Week menu: AJO BLANCO, CARNITAS, and BABĂ NEAGRĂ as dessert!
