What if the coffee behind your latte art was every bit as expressive as the pour itself?
On 17 and 18 September, Origo Academy opens its doors as part of Bucharest Food Week for two days of hands-on learning, guided tastings and conversations about coffee. Each day features two workshops, available to book individually.
The Decaf Latte Art Workshop is the afternoon session of each Open Day, bringing together hands-on latte art and guided coffee tasting.
The Origo Academy team will guide you through milk texturing, creating smooth microfoam and the foundations of free pouring. You'll discover how temperature, milk texture, pitcher position and pouring technique influence the balance and appearance of the final cup, then practise the essential movements needed to create one or two foundational latte art patterns.
After the pours, you'll taste two decaf origins prepared as espresso, espresso with milk and filter coffee, discovering how each method reveals a different expression of aroma, sweetness, texture and balance.
