Noua B.A.R. x Taste of Transylvania - powered by Carassia
Alex Petricean’s NOUA B.A.R. is hosting Adorján Trucza’s Taste of Transylvania for one night only, in a very special collaboration during Bucharest Food Week.
NOUA B.A.R.(short for Bucătărie Aproape Românească - Almost Romanian Cuisine) is chef Alex Petricean’s more relaxed take on Romanian cuisine, bringing traditional flavours into a contemporary, sharing-style format. Petricean’s work has also been recognised by The Best Chef Awards, where he holds a One Knife (Excellent) distinction, being the first Romanian chef to be recognised by the platform.
Founded by Adorján Trucza, Taste of Transylvania is more than a gastronomic festival: it is a movement dedicated to rediscovering and redefining the identity of Transylvanian cuisine. Through local ingredients, old recipes, forgotten traditions and modern cooking, the project brings together chefs, producers and food lovers from across the region and beyond. Adorján is also the founder of Páva Restaurant in Odorheiu Secuiesc, so expect some heavy Harghita influences in his special menu in collaboration with NOUA B.A.R.
This event is powered by Carassia, the sparkling wine brand of Carastelec Sparkling Winery, Romania’s first new-generation winery created specifically to produce quality sparkling wines using the traditional method.
The menu reveal is coming soon. Reservations open September 1.
